The publication of ‘Tatootime’ and it’s first issue in 1982 – New Tribalism – arguably lit the touch paper for the explosive growth of tattooing in the late twentieth century. This was the first in a series of five magazines, conceived and edited by Don Ed Hardy. Hardy, the godfather of tattooing increased its popularity and elevated tattooingt to a fine art, showcasing strong influences from Japan and the work of Sailor Jerry.

Articles include Sailor Jerry Collins, professional ethics in tattooing and the swastika as a symbol in history. Illustrated laminated card cover.
